i have urged her not to but the school where her child is has not done anything to help her boy who has been bullied since oct 2007...she feels the whole school is against her and it iv making her ill and "crazy" any thoughts? I told her to write to the governors and to keep everything factual but she is now at the end of her tether and is prepared to to anything to get it stopped ohno!! i worry for her

What exactly is she intending to do?

RosaLuxembourg · 22/05/2008 11:18

What exactly is happening, SaintPeta?

OverMyDeadBody · 22/05/2008 11:18

what's she planning on doing?

saintpeta · 22/05/2008 11:39

well i think she wants to speak with the boy directly or tell her boy to fight back...I don't think she even knows what she wants to do...the bully boys mum isnt speaking to her -really i don't know her plans but was wondering when all else fails what else would parents consider?? I would like to give her some advice

How old is her child?

The school will have an anti-bullying policy. Has she seen it?

RosaLuxembourg · 22/05/2008 11:59

What has happened so far and what have the school been doing about it?
FWIW she should NOT speak to the boy directly, and advising her son to fight back will most likely just get him into trouble. She needs to teach him to say no and walk away and to tell an adult what is going on.
As a previous poster said, she should get a copy of the school's anti-bullying policy and request a meeting with the class teacher and headteacher to put her point of view across.
But we need more details of what exactly has been happening to give specific advice.

saintpeta · 22/05/2008 11:59

just advised her to pick up a copy today thanks but she has had a meeting with the head and told him already that if he can't help her son she will do it herself-this did not go down well and he said that she is teaching her child to become a criminal and to take him out of the school if she is not happy. they see her as a nuisance i think.

Sounds like she should take him out of the school.
