We wanted to get the inside views on prep schools in Worcester.
They all market themselves as academic, full of extra-curricular opportunities and happy children but obviously without external exams it's hard to tell.
We loved the small family feel of Springfield when we looked around but obviously that is now out of the equation with the move to be a nursery.
Grange - flashy facilities and iPads everywhere, but felt more like a secondary school than a nurturing school for young children
Hawford - looks an idyllic childhood, but is it academically strong and does it prepare them for the 'real world'
St Alban's - is this the more academic option? Didn't get a strong sense of identity from the school
Any thoughts gratefully received! It's hard to make such an important choice based on a quick tour.
