Hi,

We've seen a house that we need to bid on tomorrow (likely to get into a bidding war).

However, the only catchment is Parish CofE primary school which I've seen some awful reviews for.

Scott's park is just about in catchment.

What are your experiences about Parish primary?? Is it one to avoid?

How is Scotts park?

We really don't know whether to offer on the house (that we really like), because of Paris school.

Thanks in advance!

Both are good s hooks. The facilities in terms of classrooms etc are better at Scott's park.

Thanks for your reply! Please can you tell me a bit more about the schools if you know anything about them? It's a shame we can't go to have a look around the schools before deciding on a house, as the market moves so fast!

I'd definitely chose Scott's Park over Parish.

Depending on the age of your DC and how long you might stay in the house, check the catchments for local secondary schools. If you buy in the Parish catchment, you may not be in the catchment for many of the Bromley Secondaries.

Thank you for your reply @Toffeesgirl

What is your reason for recommending Scott's park over Parish? Any info/experience you have would be so helpful as we are new to this area!

That's useful to know about secondary catchments. My daughter is almost 3, but it's nice to know we would have some options in case we did want to stay longer term. Moving is such a hassle and obviously so expensive!

Thanks in advance!
