Hi, has anyone ever appealed a Primary one school place in Northern Ireland, if so what was the outcome and how long did it take to find out?

Oh been there, done that etc! We were paying for childcare for 18 years for one or more of our three at any one time. In their 20s now and still can't get the feckers off the payroll 😄

Very best wishes, sorry I couldn't help more.

My Mum couldn't get rid of me until I was 30 lol

But it’s not like they’d have to hire an extra teacher or anything? Seems odd

Doesn't it! Like I had it in black and white of the upcoming move to the new address, I updated the Education Authority and the School with proof of a bank statement. All at the start of March and the date of the outcome was the end of April. It is just so frustrating, and I can't understand the logic of any of it. So if he was 9 month older they would take him into P2 but said no to P1 intake
