Seems from their open day page that the school is going Co-Ed across all year groups from 2026. In addition reception school starting in 2026.

i assume it won’t be automatic to get into the year 3….as they don’t want to lower their standards….I’m sure the year 2s will have to do the same 7+ as everyone else.

4+ entry is selective but you are still assessed at 11+ as today. You don't do 7+ if you get in at 4+ (no 8+ after 2026)

Have they said that with regards not doing 7+ if you get in at 4?
As I can’t imagine the assessment at 4 is going to be much more than playing etc….
Otherwise there would be a massive gulf between the 22 that come in at 7+?

Hi, I can't see anything on the website about this - can you point me to where it's mentioned?

Yes, there is no 7+ if you get in at 4. They will "keep under review" whether WUS is the right school for the child throughout their time.

I imagine that there will be a lot of siblings of current students in the reception groups. Although there is no formal sibling policy, it makes practical sense -- the school can also have some degree of certainty that the child will be able to cope with the demands as they get older (and are coming from a family that is able to assist).

Just to add, that they will keep the 11+ assessment for their own year 6 students; as I thought there were plans to make it almost automatic similar to SJPS to SPS.
