Spanish language summer school for beginners in year 3

My BF is currently looking for a Spanish language summer school in Spain. This piqued my interest so I thought I’d post on here to ask if anyone knew of any they could recommend (beginners, year 3).
Background is that BF and her DH speak only English. She has twins in 3 year who have started learning Spanish at school and seem to be enjoying it. Proficiency by the end of year 6 isn’t great as it’s just a weekly lesson.
BF wants her twins to learn another language fluently. She is freelance and works from home. Takes all school holidays off and DH is Head of a school so also gets holidays off.
She is wondering if there are any summer language schools in Spain that the twins could go to and learn Spanish in the morning and then spend time as a family in the afternoon. They could attend for 4 or 5 weeks during the English summer holidays (yes, I know… I’m jealous too!!!!)

The Instituto Cervantes in London would probably be able to advise on this.

Good idea I'll pass it on.

They do exist - probably best to pick an area of Spain and then google?

Here’s one I found in Valencia:

Much easier to find residential courses for teens though - I suspect those types of courses have a bigger profit margin.

Parent and Children Courses (Kids and Teen Courses)

My DDs spent the six week holidays at my mothers house in Spain for years.
We didn't do language school.
What we did was enroll them into age appropriate activities like watersports or horse riding.
So they would go to their activities in the morning and come home at lunchtime.
We also supplemented this with a twice a week private tutoring session with a Spanish teacher.

This was great, particularly when they were little.
The Spanish lessons would involve language around the activities they were doing and what we as a family were doing that week.

This meant that what they were learning was used everyday.

But we were in an area with very little English spoken so with the activities it was very much sink or swim.

They also got loads of play dates and friendships through their activities.

When they were in UK we found a Saturday club for two hours on a Saturday morning where they would go to sing, play and just have fun. All in Spanish.

I think because it was all very organic they really benefited long term.

One DD went onto Uni to study foreign languages and the other gets by very well.

Personally I loved the water sports club because I could just sit on the beach ogling Fernando the windsurf tutor.
Win-win 😝
