is it better to write a letter of complaint, or just speak

ds whacked around yet again by class bully. both got into trouble. very big on double standards is this school
should i write a letter of complaint to the smarmy b, aka the head, or should i speak to him? he may try to hide from me
please advise as i dont want to to in all guns blazing

Have you written any background to this on MN, pp? First thoughts are he can't hide from you if you want to see him. An appointment with him will see to that.

no, i havent really spoken about this on mn
he refuses to make appointments himself and will delegate onto others, and basically nothing will come of it. he sort of waits until the parent loses steam.

Sad that you have an unapproachable headteacher. Is the class teacher any better? You cd ask education authority for advice, what is their policy? Also does school have an anti-bullying policy? Perhaps it should - maybe ask your parent governor for advice. Good luck, sounds horrible.
