Hi,

I'm considering bringing somo gifts for the school staff that is dealing with my DS.

DS has high SEN needs, and the the head teacher and assistants are working with him to a very high standards and I wanted to let the team know my appreciation by giving them some Christmas gifts.

What do you think would be appropriate?

Thanks
Purple

A few of my family members are teachers/work in schools and I know they love a card from a child with a handwritten note if possible. Or a card they have made themselves or picked especially for the teacher. The special cards are often kept and cherished.

They get a lot of chocolate, alcohol, hot chocolate, boxes of biscuits. Used to get a lot of mugs but seems parents have caught on that they don't need 10 new mugs each year.

Depends on your budget really, something useful would be something like an amazon voucher, TA's only get paid a very small amount so I can imagine an amazon voucher could be quite handy, especially in these times.

Agree with everything the previous poster said

I agree that it depends on a budget and useful items like Amazon vouchers or coffee shop gift cards are always welcomed. If you want to do something for teachers personally, better go with a handmade card or a handwritten note from the kid, it's always appreciated (source: teacher friend). Things like monthly calendar planners or notebook/pen gift sets might work quite good as well.
