Because its a bread knife (blade reasonably longer than handle)

For the love of God, nvr age 5-6. Put it in the bin.

And I say that as a parent whose child goes to a ss private secondary.

Yeah - i thought bread knife but the lack of serrations along the cutting edge needed to saw is missing. Which is a prominent feature and function of a bread knife.

think I will highlight this with the authors. It’s a poor image.

Cause the paper is only cut a little bit. The bread is also cut just a little bit (as there is alot of the bread left). The apple is cut in half, not just a little bit

Ahhhh yeah… interesting. I did not see it like that 👍

Scissors: paper - 2 blades: 1 cut.
Knife: bread - 1 blade: 2 cuts.

My answer was immediately B. I can't even tell you why I thought that. I just thought you would cut bread before an apple Grin. I'll have to ask my ds who so chose B.

CallmeMrsPricklepants · 28/08/2022 07:59

b because carbs are nice?

Lougle · 28/08/2022 08:04

It's a bread knife, isn't it? That'll be why.

This. But it's a tricky spot.

That would be my simple thinking too.

Because the scissors cut the paper a little bit and the knife cut the bread a little bit but the apple has been cutnin half.

It is a stupid question though, a lot of Bond’s non verbal questions are dumb and use old fashioned images.

Schofield and Simms are much better for me.

I would go C before B here, and reckon DC would too - if I were to buy a loaf of that shape (vs. a bloomer or baguette) I would buy it sliced so no knife required.
However would always chop an apple myself!
Plus a bread knife has a serrated edge?
