Anyone know of primary school that starts in August or 1Sept classes?

Hi,
To become a qualified teacher, my PGCE course requires that I do a primary school observation before the start of the course - but I haven’t found a school in/near London that starts in late August or at the latest has students in class by 1 September 2022. From what I have seen, they all have inset on 1 and 2 September and then start classes on 5 September.

Does anyone know of any primary school that begins its autumn term a bit earlier?

Thank you.

We don't break up till this Friday 😠
Back the Monday 31st for inset and then children back the Tuesday...

Same as us.

As others have said - Leicestershire. They break up 2 weeks earlier and go back early.

I was talking to a friend in Nottingham and apparently the schools there go back on 1 September, she said some places bear her go back in august

Jewish schools go back early to allow them to have time off for the Jewish holidays.

NottinghamSHIRE council have the kids going back on 1st September, some schools may have tacked an additional Inset day onto holidays but the county calendar has admin days already placed on it for the last days of August. If you're quick - our schools are still running Mon-Wed(ish) next week so you might be able to contact one (I know the Head of our school is a very obliging chap who is always up to chat and show off his school - although busy getting wet sponges thrown at him on the playground at points next week!)

Otherwise Leicester was a good shout but they'll already have broken up so getting replies from school offices might be trickier.
