Hi,

My DS will be 4+ in August 2022. He got reception place offered by Quainton Hall School and St John's School Northwood. I am little confused which one to go with.

Quainton Hall seemed like more caring and good mixture of academic, sports and arts. I even loved headmaster - all the small details they take care of and school bus service is life saver. But i feel they lack in facilities if compared to st johns.

I understand St John's association with MT, but it seemed strict. is it? I loved all the facilities and big grounds. Also its single sex - which i am still unsure if opt or not. Are they good in academics too same as sports? They don't offer bus service.

We live in eastcote so both schools are like 30-35 mins away, school bus would be good option. What I am looking for my DS is balanced environment, not too much and not too less, at same time he should be able to see all the options/sports/facilities are out there in the world, so he get to chose what he likes. What are plus and minus for these two, if anyone know any?

Have you looked at st. Martin's? We are in a similar situation for selecting school for the next year!

Any further luck with your dilemma?
