Need trousers for dd (4) - can anyone recommend some that aren't hideous acrylic type material?

You can get cotton ones. I know Clean Slate do them. Can you get away with not-officially-school trousers? I struggle because ds2 gets very sore skin in synthetic trousers.

Ah, they seem to be out of stock.
John Lewis had cotton ones for boys back in the summer - my mother bought them from the shop - but I can't find them online at all.
M&S were supposed to be getting some but I haven't seen them yet.

lol julesrose

have often thought the school clothes dept in some places are a fire hazard

will watch for tips too!

Try Adams - that was the only place we could find non-polyester dresses for dd!

Thanks TooTicky - Never heard of Clean Slate but just checked it out - looks great. Sadly trousers need to be navy. Also checked out Adams but theirs are Teflon coated!

I have to get cotton ones for my ds because of his excema. Asda are the cheapest (about £4) and I have had no problems with them at all when you can get them. Try phoning their helpline. M&S also do cotton ones for about £12 per pair

Next yr,when ds goes up to secondary school he will have to have those vile nylon-y PE shorts which I have resisted buying for the past 6 yrs...vile things

bhs have 100% cotton in grey only on their website - worth checking in store for navy ones
