Davenies and High March, Beaconsfield

We're moving to Beaconsfield over the summer and hoping for our son to start at Davenies in Year 3 and daughter at High March in Year 5. Would love to hear from any current parents about pros / cons.

High March has far more leaving for grammar schools and only goes to 11. There are more boys staying at Davenies until 13. So different ethos in many ways. They are not the best if you want boarding at 13. Godstowe and Caldicott are the bigger names in that sphere.

Thank you @TizerorFizz. Do most boys not leave at 11 from Davenies? Hoping for local friends for the children since they're joining midway through, so have been focusing on Beaconsfield but will look at your other suggestions too: thank you!

They say 30%. So grammar children only I would think. However no reason why DC won’t have local friends. You need to think about post 11 or post 13 options. Do you want grammar? If not where? Boys senior day schools are in short supply in Bucks. That’s why the boys’ schools go to 13. Godstowe girls mostly leave at 13 too.
