Looking for specialist ASD school near London (Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Kent)

Name change due to sensitive and revealing details.

Can anyone please recommend an ASD specialised state or private school near London (Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Kent) for a 9 year old pre-verbal ASD. Bolt-on SEN support in mainstream schools will not cut it in our case, as he is NOT independent highly functioning Aspergers and needs constant "hand-holding" so looking for a specialist school of some sort.

DS has been home schooled until now due to language issues (we've been living abroad for 7 years now) so we're finding our way back to the UK system in the dark. Yet we think that small class-sizes, availability of individual 121s and a well-behaved class in general would be best.

Looking for primary now, but also thinking ahead for secondary.

Pls help! Thanks.

I did an occupational therapy lavender as a student at St Joseph's in Cranleigh. There were verbal and non verbal students, some complex LD, ASD, sensory issues etc. There were day pupils and boarders.
Speech and language, OT, art and music therapists all on site. Lovely grounds too.
Good luck, I hope you find the right place for your DC

Blossom house near new maldon. But if you dont dont know the UK sen system be prepaired to appeal especially in Surrey as they wont do the right thing without duress and the state SEN schools will be full in year. If you do look at Surrey look at the ipsea website. Good luck.

Have you already got all the necessary paperwork? EHCP mainly. I don't know anything about moving from abroad admittedly but you won't get anywhere without an EHCP or I'd assume (but not guarantee because SEN provision is so underfunded councils will do anything to keep kids in mainstream) some kind of international equivalent.

It might be worth contacting the national autistic society's education dept?
