Dear all,
Would love to get some advice regarding in-year school admissions and house moves.
We are looking to move to Sutton sometime next year (2022) from Ealing.
Our child will be in year 1 this Septemeber 2021.
So around the time of our move (tentatively April 2022), we are most likely looking for in-year admissions for year 1 in good Sutton schools (mainly Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy).
Going by the school vacany checker, we don't seem to have vacancies in the schools we are looking for (www.sutton.gov.uk/downloads/file/4865/schools_in_year_vacancy_checker)
This is our first experience of moving houses with a school going child , so any advice would be much appreciated :-)
Am very confused about how to plan the house move.
We do not want to move to Sutton if we don't get admission into a good school as the current school is really good and we don't want to compromise on that.
But to get admission into the schools we desire, do we need to move first?
It feels a bit chicken-egg kind of situtation to me, but I guess am missing some information.
Thank you in advance for helping out a
mom
Kind Regards
