Clifton lodge Ealing won't share their destination!

We looked at a pre prep school in Ealing and they sent us over their destination 'offers' but I asked for the accepted places and they refused. I am stunned. All other schools we requested did so, except this. They said its confidentiality ..

Def without that we won't send our one but anyone had experiences like this?
Also any insight into this school PLEASE

Surely it’s the offers they receive not where the parents ultimately decide to send them that’s important? What if 20 out of 20 got into Westminster but only 1 took up a place? The 20 would be far more impressive than the 1. If you are targeting a specific school you might want to ask how many children have gone there over the last five years.

If it’s a very small year group then it could be quite “outing” to individual children so the school is right to say it’s confidential. They have a safeguarding responsibility to children in their care.

No, the acceptances is important. otherwise you can't tell if it is one or two bright kids getting multiple offers or everyone doing well. I wouldn't apply to a prep that won't share this. I know lots of small schools that share data like this e.g. www.goldershillschool.co.uk/exam-results/

Some do ,some don't. It is helpful, but not a deal breaker imho.
Kew College don't for example, but year on year the list is impressive, and you do know the number in the year group.
Generally you can tell which are the aspirational school offers achieved and no doubt accepted, and the larger numbers of achievable /back up school offers.
Their latest publish results of Clifton look ok with some aspirational schools ....but I would like to know how many kids were in the year group, as there are not that many offers in total.

41 offers. If each child sat for 3 schools then that’s about 13 kids in a year group. My bet is that with 12 offers from St Benedicts that every pupil applies there and has some sort of tie with the school where they are basically guaranteed a place.

Four offers from Merchant Taylor’s would probably be the same boy(s) who got places at City, St Paul’s and KCS.

I would seriously be more put off by what appears to be a very small year group. And sport only being played twice a week.
