Teachers- what’s the most thoughtful thank you gift you’ve received?

Coming up to the end of term and my DC’s Reception teachers have been incredible. I’d really like to get them a thoughtful gift each when my DC leaves their class in July. Teachers- what do you like to receive and what shows that a family has really thought about and appreciated you?

I teach in a secondary private and have received gifts I've had to declare (over £100 according to school policy) in summer ten you can expect a few bottles of moet, tatty or bolly or some super expensive candles that no one ever burns! My favourite gifts have been small things with a thoughtful note from the child (which in fairness is maybe a bit different when you're 17/18 and writing it yourself than in primary school). Honestly a letter or note explaining your gratitude is all that is needed. It HAS been a shit year, and I would be DELIGHTED to receive a £10 bottle of wine and a really sincere thank you note from the parent which details what a difference I've made or the things the parents thinks I've done well this year. Image you have a class of 1
28 kids and every one gets a bottle of wine (no matter the cost) teacher I'm sure would be thrilled (unless they are teetotal 😂)
