Ds's teacher is new to the job and struggling. (Shouts, is V disorganised, isn't controlling the naughty ones and ds is bored out of his mind and miserable.)

But he is only doing a term and a new teacher is due to start in Jan.

Should I speak up about ds being bored at parents meeting or is there no point seeing as he'll be gone soon?

Im an x teacher myself so know how goddamed blardy hard the job is and that the poor guy is shattered and doing his level best to keep his head above water. Having been in his position as an NQT I really don't know if saying something will make any difference or will just add to his obvious stress.

Ideas, oh wise ones?

Shimmy if you have time to spare, why don't you go in as a parent helper? Or if you are working full time yourself, or just can't, could you persuade another parent to offer?
Maybe all he needs is a little support.

It might be worth a quiet word to the Head asking what support the teacher is getting.
