School uniform

How much school uniform do you think my daughter needs when she starts reception in September? (Ignoring Covid19 & assuming a full time week)

We have the option of:
Polo shirt
Trousers / skirt / pinafore dress
Cardigan / jumper

I don't want to be washing every day but likewise don't want piles of unworn uniform!

I only saw 25% off blazers and jumpers. I need to buy trousers

^Their uniform sale is usually in july. Ill be holding out. I cant see how the uniform shop i have to go to will cope with demand.

Ours are well past primary age, but this resonates. I've carried on propping up the company right through secondary as well - always bought second hand blouses for DD after the first set (which we needed to get in too much of a hurry to organise a meeting with the relevant PA member), which tended to need fairly intensive therapy to restore them to something like their original colour.

At primary, ours managed with two of whatever they were wearing on their bottom half, but we always had 5 or 6 polo shirts / shirts for each. The bane of my life was whiteboard marker ink...
