catchment area for Temple Grove Free School (Telegraph Hill)

Hello -

We will be applying for reception in Jan 2020, hoping to get into Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham Temple Grove Free School. We do not meet any other admission criteria, so this will have to be based solely on distance. Does anyone know how small their catchment area is? I cannot find much published information about it...

Do you mean January 2021? It’s pretty small, in 2017 it was around 450 metres if I remember correctly. You need to email the admissions department (details on the website) for specifics as it’s no longer in the prospectus. NB Make sure you ask about the temple grove free school as there is also a sister school in new cross with a confusingly similar name, in case you weren’t already aware.

Thanks so much, wtftodo! Yes, I obviously mean next January:p Given that they only admit 60 kids per year, I was expecting it to be pretty small, so 450 m does not surprise me. Yup, I am aware of the other temple grove school which is not the one we want - so confusing indeed! Will contact them since they indeed do not seem to publish their catchment info... thanks again:)
