May I ask, could anyone recommend any online teaching resources for my 7 and 9 year olds please? Particularly maths. Thank you.

The government have lots of recommended online resources for all key stages and subjects. I have linked the maths key stage 1 and 2 pages.

This is the link to all of the pages

The Oak National Academy maths is very patiently explained, albeit perhaps at the more basic end of the curriculum.

There are some fantastic YouTube programs too, it doesn't just have to be online games and quizzes.

If you need any advice with how to teach a particular concept in the primary curriculum, I have been creating FREE ‘in a nutshell’ explanations. You can find some of these on my website: thehomeschooltutor.net. I am happy to create others for FREE on request to support families.

BBC Bitesize, Carol Vorderman, the Government website, and Oak Academy are fantastic. Thank you very much. I'd also commend one I found - www.numberfit.com. They provide free 'physically active' maths lessons that get my two moving, and break the day up a bit. Great fun!

Manga High, Khan Academy and Myimaths are additional options
Timestables.co.uk Snappy maths

In addition to Oak Academy etc I mix the above online resources up with worksheets from Twinkl. Some have downloadable worksheets, some quizzes, some games. My DD particularly likes ones where you compete with someone.
