I know this has probably been done to death in other areas on the boards but I’m asking for those of you who work with children for your best gifts?

I have 3 children across the school, one child is in reception so teacher and lots of TAs.
I know lots of other people will get chocolates, biscuits, flowers etc and I don’t want to give ornaments/mugs as I know they accumulate over the years!
The staff in each child’s class have been brilliant this year and I would really like to show our appreciation

things that went down well with my sister (who is a teacher) were costa vouchers and personalised sticky notes like these with 'a note from mrs sleep' written along the bottom. she could use them to write notes to other teachers or to parents.

A card from you with a couple of specific things that the teacher has done this year to make a difference to your child. Those are my favourite gifts - I've still got cards from my NQT year and that is much too long ago!!
Otherwise, personalised sticky notes/pencils are a lovely idea. Stationery in general is great. A book token is also brilliant - the summer is the only time I get to read so I love getting to choosing a book "from" that child. Costa card is also a really good idea.
One girl once gave me 6 Biros - she'd put sticky labels on and written "Hands off. I belong to Mrs Latenightmarker". I loved that gift..
But the personal card. That's the important one..

Buy some cactuses... You can buy a set of maybe 10 on amazon, then just put it individual personalised pots and decorated by dc!

What about organising a class collection? That's what we do I've got three in primary and it makes life much easier, the teacher/TA gets a voucher to treat themselves to something they want.
Dd is in secondary and we usually give her form teacher a Costa voucher.

My kids schools always did collections for the ta's and unsung hero's behind the scene, by collecting from the whole school (420 students) it evens out differences in classes ;it's a very mixed income area) and ensures the saintly janitor, the reception staff who also look after sick kids etc aren't forgotten, all three primaries they attended did this
