Plus fit school uniform (not sure else where to put this)

So now the drama of waiting for primary school allocations is over I now have the headache of trying to find school uniform for my DD.

She’s 5 at the beginning of September, so one of the older ones of her year group. I’ve always had to go a size up for her clothes as she’s fairly tall and carries a fair bit of weight. She’s currently 112cm and 25kg, so fairly chunky bless her.

I’ve tried Asda and Sainsbury’s normal sized school uniform and id need to go to age 7 for them to fit her properly around the belly etc without her weight being obvious, but then of course it’s too long.

She’s more of a dress / skirt, polo shirt and cardigan kind of girl.

So I’ve been suggested you can buy plus fit school uniform. Can anyone recommend some brands for us to try?

Also - as an extra question.... her school says they can have logo or plain cardigans or sweatshirts. Would you personally spend the money on logo stuff or just go for the plain stuff? Thanks

Next and M & S do plus size. I found ASDA good for trousers as they were elastic round the waist rather than fitted. My ds4 used a mixture of those brands as he started reception in nappies so needed more room.

Buy trousers which fit round the waist and then turn them up. Surely you can hem a pair of trousers?

Supermarket sizing always has seemed dinky for my lanky boys so don't feel bad. Try the boys trousers for roomier cuts and ignore the size on the label, just choose what fits. My 11 year old is in medium men's T shirts and 15-16 year old tracksuits due to his height.

Sainsbury’s have plus size and have 25% off just now.

I'm sure Asda do us fit, just to throw something in at the other end of the budget.

Forn nursery DS had all logoed stuff but a tually it's a bit of a waste. He goes up to reception September and I'll replace as he grows with a mix. So some logoed tips for trips, photos etc and the rest from a supermarket. Jumpers are harder as supermarket cardigans are thin and aimed at girls (flower buttons, frilled collar) and jumpers struggle to get over his huge head, so it'll prob be school cardigan but certainly fewer than he has now and I'll wash mid week.

Asda to a flexi fit uniform.

Sleeping - v neck jumpers are much better on big heads then crew necks. Even logo'd cardigans seem to be only worn by the girls . Which is stupid imo but my opinion doesnt count !

I don't know about plus size uniform. But I have had a chunky, but active girl at primary school. She was active and we were referred to a dietician her diet was fine ( I had measured portions so they were okay). The dietician had no suggestions just keep doing what you are doing.
Boom she hit puberty and is now a size 8 at nearly 16.
