Ideas to support year 3 DD with maths

Hi can anyone advise?
DD is apparently struggling with maths according to her teacher .
I think she said it’s just some gaps with number bonds that need to be addressed ASAP.
We have started doing some maths games at home which are quite good but am wondering what else we should be doing.
Keen to nip it in the bud as she is perfectly able but has started telling me she is no good at maths .

Erm "struggling with maths" at 3?? Gaps in number bonds? She's 3! Play with her, talk to her, read with her count stuff whilst you're out and about, that's all a toddler needs. Please don't turn her off learning by pushing her to do something that she's not developmentally ready for.

She's in Year 3 grumpy.

I was also a bit confused about a 3YO needing help with number bounds. Mine is almost 4 and only bloody counting!

Practice, practice and lots of practice.

To take the pressure off a bit, encourage her to use maths in day to day environments. Counting and working stuff out at the supermarket etc.

I know, which is why I posted this, my mistake!

We've just started the Carol Vorderman maths website (maths factor) - got a special offer from a kids discount website.
It's really good - videos explaining the concepts and then loads of practice and games. Lots of encouragement etc.
Dd seems to enjoy it and she's used it every day so far.

Thanks for the replies everyone- made me smile you thinking she was 3 - I often read threads on here and think I have been way too laid back!

I will check out the suggestions.

It’s interesting though that we do the numbers in everyday conversation- I feel she just leans more towards words and has gaps where she switched off in class when younger ... anyway am sure with some new ideas we can help her .
Appreciate the input.

There are some fun (well, ish) free number bonds activities if you google "Hit the Button" - free Top Marks games

If you know what's the gap is and think repetition will help her, this site is great.
