The Earth must have less water than thousands of years ago becayuse when the Earth was made, it had the maximum amount of water it cold have, right? And now, we're in drought which means WE'RE LOSING WATER, which means we must have less water than thousands of years ago. #commonsense

That's hard for primary. I think most of the earth water is recycled in nature through the water cycle. Water can also be produced via natural processes. However global warming can affect weather conditions- there may be more water at the arctic but it may not fall where you need it in Africa. I suppose in the long run there will be more water less ice. This is primary!@!

Year 4 I seem to remember a lot of time was spent on the water cycle and global warming so this is where the question is heading.

The answer depends on how long, 1000 years, no. And if you watch one of the educational video or read the articles, it's quite clear.
