Marks and Spencers plimsolls are really wide. DS1 had mega wide feet (off the clarks scale!) and we always got his plimsolls in there.

He had Geox for school shoes which are also really wide.

He's 13 now and still has really really wide feet (he's an adult size 11!) but wears Puma football boots as they come up wide so maybe try them?

Agree with M&S plimsolls and also Geox shoes. Just got my DS2 both..he has wide feet.
DS1 has verrry wide feet and has Ricosta shoes, they're lovely and very light weight and even he commented on how comfortable and 'light' his feet felt.

It is a right pain isn't it! Just realised you didn't need school shoes, but hope the above helps!

Trainer wise, we find Adidas are fairly wide fit and Sondico football boots were the only ones that fit comfortably.

Thank you. I will follow those up.

Yes its a real pain. Why cant I have "normal" shaped children. I so envy the people who can skip intp Sainsbury and buy the whole uniform list in a few minutes knowing it will all fit nicely

for narrow feet, primigi fits well (my oldest has c width feet)

Startrite have always been ok for my dd who is D/E fitting.

Clarks do some H fitting - very difficult now for15YO dS however - you end up having to go up a size at least.

I go to an independent shoe shop that stocks a variety of European brands. They know their stock well, and which brand/style suits which foot shape the best. I have one dc with wide feet and the other with flat, skinny feet and always find what I am looking for.

The shop is near Kew Gardens if you are anywhere near sw London, right outside Kew Gardens station. Lots of free parking nearby if you visit after 12pm. www.theshoestation.co.uk

They may even be able to advise you over the phone.

Chipmunks shoes are v wide. DD is a G and they are just about too wide for her. They don't do trainers but they do school shoes.

Startrite definitely do H. I imagine Clarke's do too
