Deferring entry

Hello we deferred entry in London as my ds is a summer baby. Then we moved to Birmgham that he already had deferred and I applied for reception here online and as it wouldn't work I put 2014 as year of birth .
Now they have withdrawn the place as they say I didn't defer entry here 😡 He was meant to have induction tomorrow and just cause of the year they took his place away 😡
IF the child already had deferred entry why would I defer here again ? Help anyone ! Tx

Different admissions authorities take different approaches to this, and just because one agrees doesn't mean another will, and they don't have to. They do need to consider it, but they don't have to agree I'm afraid.

All you can do is go back to them with the evidence for why you want to defer and see if you can persuade them.

But deferring was already agreed
My son is born end of august ! The teacher said he had to be deferred and I agreed now here they took his place away

Its not up to the teacher though - it has to be agreed by the local authority.

If you've moved local authority then they have no obligation to honour it.

I think you need to go and have a meeting with them ASAP to sort where you stand as September isn't far now.

I applied for reception here online and as it wouldn't work I put 2014 as year of birth .

I think this part is the problem. You really should have called their admission team and discussed it in person. From their point of view by entering his date of birth incorrectly you have lied on your application form.

Deferring was agreed, but not with the admissions authority in Birmingham, as far as I can see. Deferral is down to the admissions authority of the relevant school, with agreement with the Head of the school. Just because the AA and school in London agreed doesn't mean the AA and school in Birmingham will, or have to.

Unfortunately you have compounded the problem by effectively lying on the application with the incorrect date of birth. As I say, all you can do is go to the Admissions Authority and plead your case.

But deferring was already agreed

Deferring was already agreed for the school in London and only for that local authority and school. It was not agreed for any other school anywhere else in the country. As you have moved to Birmingham you have to start again. The local authority and schools in Birmingham will make their own decision. They do not have to accept the decision that was made in London.
