Yet again my ds has come home with a reading boom he has already read.
I know all about it not just been about reading but about comprehension too but we read every day, ask comprehension questions and talk about the story and the pictures and find words in the text. So after the week of the same book were both finding it boring and repetitive and I run out of questions to ask him.
He's also finding the books too easy. I don't want to be "that mum" that interferes but it's getting to where I think there's no challenge in the books and what's the point if he isn't being challenged/pushed to get better. (Not talking going full harry potter chapter books but moving to the next stage up to give more words per page and more vocab)
Does anyone else find their child bringing the same books home again and again???
