Dear all,
My UK friends have led me to this wonderful place where I found a lot of useful information on the education for kids.
My family is gonna come over with me to London during my study at Imperial for MSc. I am desperately looking for advice on reception class / school that would accept international students (I knew some / most top schools might have been full already). I am looking for schools not too far from Kensington. Grateful for your advices! Thanks!

Actually, based on what you’ve said, Kensington Wade might be what you are looking for. It’s close to the museums in South Kensington, I think.

Are you planning to live near Imperial? If so Cameron House and the Hampstead School (which oddly is in Chelsea) are pretty handy and hill house also

Reception is going to be really tough, especially as you are only here for a year (you may want to gloss over that....). You really are just going to have to phone around a long list (work your way through the good school’s guide) and keep phoning - you need to get lucky in being the person who called just after someone has pulled out. Next term may be more fruitful - people are just committing to schools now is the waiting lists are all fresh and shiny. As everyone gets sorted a suddenly dropped place is less likely to just go to a waitlisted person.

Have you contacted the International Students Office at Imperial? They could probably advise.

Imperial Early Year's is a superb option until your child turns five which will be right at the end of your Masters anyway as I am reading it.

Anyone has experience with Fulham Pre Prep? Seems to be a good school too?

I was also going to suggest Kensington Wade
