Hi all,
We ( my young family) are planning to relocate from Middle East to London preferably Richmond bourough.
My daughter is 3.5 years old, I'm quite keen to secure a place for her in a good state school,
What would be the best sequence ?? should we rent first nearby some of good schools and once we secure admission and later on buy a flat in that area or should we buy from the outset within catchment area of couple of schools and see how it goes ?

I'm really at a loss, as what is the most logical approach given current completion for good primaries.

We are planning to move back in November 17.
What are the top 3 primary schools in Richmond?
Any tips and pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you x

Most of the primary schools in the borough are good or outstanding. There are quite a few church schools so it depends if you are churchgoers. Are you looking at Richmond town all the whole borough?

Lots of the very good schools in the borough are Church schools. Are these available to you?
As Noisyplane asks, are you looking to live in central Richmond or the whole borough?

As you have total flexibility, I would choose your school, rent very close by and then buy once she has started. Be careful about moving out of catchment even a tiny bit before she starts as you can lose the place.
