I have just started my kids are maths whizz. They are really enjoying it. For those using it can you give any tips as to when and how your kids use it. Many thanks.

I thought you were raving about maths factor last month...what happened?

Yep, maths factor is going so well I'm adding maths whizz too! They've just completed their first 30 day challenge and are on their second one! I am thrilled to bits! My one twin has Aspergers and is also dyslexic probably dyspraxic too and I wasn't sure her attention span would work online but it's done wonders!!! She's gone from having panic attacks almost at the thought of doing her times tables tests once a week to asking me to time her! It's inceredible to see the difference!! She's so far behind and with online working for her I thought I'd add an extra dimension. Maths factor is staying until they complete it all which will been more than a year and onwards but it doesn't cover money, shapes etc. Unlike maths factor there isn't a clear cut method of what to do each day. Kids can opt to do a ssssion, replay, challenge people etc and it doesn't message you to say when a tutor lesson is done. They seem to really like it but it's not cheap when combined with my other subscription so I want to get the most out of it. My 3 kids are 6, 8 and 8 and I'm on my own with them most of the time so managing extra study is quite a juggle. So I'm after some tips from those who have used it before. For anyone with a child with dyspraxia or on the spectrum so far I would recommend them both. Maths factor more as there is a human face. I'm trying to get my twin ready for year 4 as they are quite behind and especially my daughter with Aspergers she is desperate to catch up!

It's the only screen time they get at home so I'm hoping fiddling with different functions will settle down after the nobility has worn off ;-) Any tips would be fab!

Great it's working out. Smile
I just had a look at mathwizz sample lessons, and it looks great.
Does it go beyond yr8?
How does the system work? Does it adapt to the child's ability or you choose the level?
