Ds 2 and rubbish year 3 😞 Any tips on maths websites?

Long story short, Ds2 is in year 3
Last year - New teacher to the school - Not well liked by colleagues, kids or parents! Lots of kids unhappy going into school now. Learning seems to have stalled. Now she has been off sick for weeks. No word on return date.
Supply teacher also not great - again, lots of parents unhappy and not well liked by the children.
Anyway, rather than moan further I would like to help Ds2 - who up to this school year was really enthusiastic about learning - so can anyone recommend an online maths programme for over the summer hols?
I've given up with the school reading books as they are awful and ds can't find any at his level he hasn't already read....very poor choice of books too, which the school acknowledges.
So he now reads books from home ....beast quest ATM 😀🙄
I'm more concerned about maths.
I've basically written off year three but am determined to help him all I can to prepare for year four.
Thanks!

If Khan doesn't suit I couldn't recommend mathswhizz highly enough.

I home ed and my dd does this for 30 mins three times a week and she has caught up so much. She had no confidence when she came out of school.

There's an assessment at the start and lessons planned accordingly.

Mathletics and mymaths are both good, but not sure how much they are as I've always gone through school subscriptions

Feel for you, my DS had an awful Y1, Y2, and Y3 with teachers. (Nine in three years, some of which just really didn't care) and it can really knock them. We did a lot of home learning, and actually a tutor for a year for English, and everything is ok now coming to the end of Y4.

Some great ideas thank you

For Literacy, readtheory and readworks are great for comprehension.

Again khan for grammar, and pobble for writing.

All free, so you can try out if he likes it.

Strong support here for MathsWhizz. We tried IXL at home but that can get very boring. Our school started out with Mathletics which is not bad. Then moved to MathsWhizz. School stopped it as not many people using but my son adored it. We paid for it at home for a while as he enjoyed so much. Interactive. Engaging. Some offers where you can get a free trial. Also loads of free work sheets on line for time tables, time and also word problems. Would compliment the on line with some work books. You know what will be right for your son :-) Agree re - Beast Quest. OK but vocab not stretching. My son is by no means a keen reader but he does find David Walliams fully (Y3, age 7). Good luck

I think there's a 30 day free trial for maths whizz.

Can't recommend this enough!! Themathsfactor.com use code for £1 for first month instead of £9.99 SC-34934-FR They have a 30 day challenge kids can sign up for and if they do 30 days they send them in medal in the post!! Plus there is a summer camp online with it too.

Just a warning, if you use above poster's code, she/he will be getting £10 each time.

We use doodlemaths which is an app rather than a website so may not be as comprehensive. The 'teaching' bits aren't very good but topics get introduced gradually. For us it works because it isn't presented as a game but has a very simple layout for the questions with no time pressure. It is little and often and is responsive but more good part of a mix with eg workbooks rather than on its own.

My dd had a terrible Y2, the teacher was fine but left halfway through the class and we then had terrible supply teachers. She is now in Y5 and is still affected by her Y2 experience. I would say the most important thing is to ensure he maintains his confidence and love of learning. Worry less about what he learns this year. If he is enjoying reading beastquest then that is great - he is enjoying reading.

I might have undersold doodlemaths there; we have been using it for months and all my kids get on well with it and like it.
