End of year teacher gift - voucher ideas please?

Thinking ahead to end of year gift, and need some advice: Last year we bought a few bottles of wine for the teachers/TA etc, but this year, I can't do that because there is literally 10+ members of staff I would need to buy for with all my kids at the school, and how lovely and involved all the staff are with my children.
So now I'm thinking of just one large voucher to give to the school that can be spent on resources/books/etc for the classroom. Do other people do this? Does anyone have an idea of what kind of voucher to get? I know there's Amazon, but thats a bit generic...
And then I'll get kiddies to make homemade cards for each adults too..

What a lovely idea :-)

Amazon is fab because you can buy anything. If you really want to avoid Amazon, then use Caboodle to buy book tokens as you get extra value.

Are there Ikea vouchers? Many teachers buy frames, cushions, bookcases, etc.

It's always lovely to get a present and I appreciate all of mine, but to be honest the ones I value the most are not the most expensive but the most personal. I worked with two children from the same family and had huge developmental breakthroughs with both. One of them bought me a rubber in the shape of the nickname I gave her and the other made me a flower using craft materials. I still have them. I also received a small cosmetic mirror once which was engraved with a message from a child. That parents thought so carefully about what to give me meant a huge amount to me.

It's great that all the staff are lovely and involved with your children, and I think making cards for each of them is a very good idea. But wouldn't vouchers for the classroom be effectively giving a present to the school, not the teachers? Is there something collective you could give that could be enjoyed by everyone? I suppose chocolates for the staffroom are a bit old hat, but maybe a snazzy coffee machine, or something like that?

I think Amazon are still avoiding taxes in the UK, so I wouldn't feel right myself about giving Amazon vouchers to anyone working in a public sector increasingly starved of funds.

Ooo thats a good idea of something for the staff room... I do want to thank each individual staff member for being so lovely to my children, but buying each an individual gift will add up the £££! So trying to think communally - so okay, I need to think more about something the teachers would enjoy as a collective, rather than a generic present to the school...

Coffee, teabags and fruit teas always go down well in our staff room. We often get little hampers of those handed in.

Anything electrical might be tricky - it would need to be PAT tested before use. Food and drink items are always very well received in our staff room.

If you're buying food or drink for the staff room, make sure it will keep over the holidays. At my school (secondary) any parent who donated a big box of glue sticks would be universally loved as ours have all run out and so has the budget.

I am a governor and I always take biscuits in. Usually shortbread and it must be in a tin so they keep. Also, never on the last day - about a week before so they get eaten! I think a gift for the school is separate but you could ask what they need.

Coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits with good dates on.

A selection of stickers would be a hit too, many buy their own.

How about asking if there are any books they'd like for the library? Then buy the actual books.

Haha yes to glue sticks! And whiteboard pens.
