I'm so sorry harman, how heartbreaking.

I also have a YrR and yr2 children and I do know that they were seeing a fair bit of each other at playtime.

Has she got any friends in her class? Anyone you could have round?

Did she have this "problem" at pre school? It sounds like there's an issue going on at school. Would she tell you if something was worrying her?

Total pants for you Harman.

harman-sounds like my son,it's so exhausting and heartbreaking.I sympathise. We've had these problems since sept(he's in year 1).He was being picked on ,and finally the school seem to be dealing with it,and he has been a bit better recently. However,we are moving him to another school,as we don't really think the school he is in suits him that much.there are several children with real problems in his class, and it's so disruptive for the other children. If your dd is so upset, something is clearly not right, and you must push to find out.It took me taking him out of school for them to listen to us,and do something about it.good luck.

We've moved ds now,to a nicer school, and he's so happy. The change in him is remarkable. He's happy to go in now,and enjoying school at last.

My dd1 didn't get a place though,so we are doing the 2 school thing. But it's worth it to see him so happy.
If you can,go for the move,it might be the best decision you will make.
