I think my DC is getting wrong info at school.

DS (7yo) is doing a project at school on the telephone.
He has been taught that John logie Baird invented the telephone.
I was always under the impression that the telephone was invented by Alexander graham bell, and logie Baird invented TV.
I'm prepared to be told that I'm wrong, if that's the case.
Am I correct in thinking this? And if so should I speak to the teacher about it?

I am, but I knew about the ahoy thing before I started watching the show. It was a "fun fact" in one of my secondary school h/w diaries. Op I meant a thin red line through the incorrert name, but to write the correct name in pencil or pen above (writing in red pen can be a bit severe). Surely the teacher would indicate in some way that there had been a misunderstanding (if that's what happened). Or she'd realise there had been a simple mistake made, that the parent had corrected, so as to not confuse dc. This would feel less embarrassing to me than having an awkward conversation about it.

Did you have a chat with the teacher?

Ds would love that.
First odd fact would be:
"John Logie Baird did not invent the telephone"
Second fact would be that he did invent the TV.

I'm a TA and I think that actually, a quiet word with the teacher is much better than a note, the time of which can be misconstrued.
