I have been trying to get information from the school. From what I can gather, it's a no. The only thing on offer is deepening during lessons. Nothing extra, no links outside school.

There used to be stuff, but I just get a 'there's no money' type response. Which I completely understand.

If there is something available I would be very interested.

My children were given this label as well, but it meant nothing in terms of stretching their abilities. In fact, they were often showing less able pupils how to do things, which is a good thing as well. However, our primary were happy to have smart hardworking children on their books, but really they only worked hard with the bottom sets to meet their level 4 criteria by the end of year 6. My DC were all at that level in Yr 4 and they were at the mercy of having a teacher excited about them or not. My DD had an amazing yr5 teacher, but my DS didn't. And Year 6 was a total waste of time. I ended up doing stuff with them at home.

I did stuff at home with dd - she's very good at English and wasn't being stretched at school.
