Or have I just started the first one?

I don't think ours go online until about 5pm, or at least that's when I seem to remember getting dd1's 4 years ago. Not that I'm not checking already of course....

AntiquityUbiquity · 17/04/2016 10:30

Doesn't say time on ours but the secondary applications from last year were available from midnight so I'm assuming it's the same.

tethersend · 17/04/2016 10:33

I'll be interested to see ZoeQ's update now her other thread has been deleted. She seemed a little confused as to the number and ages of her kids Confused Grin

Waiting until 5pm tomorrow in London- from previous experience, I know they are unlikely to release anything before then. Doesn't stop me checking the website though Grin

alien11 · 17/04/2016 10:40

Glad I'm not the only one refreshing haha

Gizlotsmum · 17/04/2016 12:33

I check every now and then in the hope they are up early. I am going to be staying up aren't I?

zippyswife · 17/04/2016 13:09

Don't know if I'll stay up to check- ds3 is 2 months old so I'm normally feeding him at about 3am so I might just check then (who am I kidding... I'll be staying up till midnight!).

ShowOfHands · 17/04/2016 13:13

Interesting Tethers. Was it that thread about a woman having the temerity to have more than one child with more than one man? I hid it very early on if so.

Still at least 24 hours to go until school allocation. I'm no longer nervous. I'm bored.

CommanderShepard · 17/04/2016 13:41

I just want it to be over now, so if we don't get the preferred school we can start making peace with it. Going to be bloody awful at the preschool gates tomorrow as most people are very clear what they think of our catchment school - we're one of the few families outwith the better two schools' catchments - and it's not flattering (not that they've never visited, but.)

alien11 · 17/04/2016 13:56

I've got the forms printed out ready to fill in and send! Now bored of waiting

tethersend · 17/04/2016 14:14

It was indeed, SoH. It's all very odd.

Maiyakat · 17/04/2016 20:16

For those waiting, I've just discovered my LA (which doesn't let us know until tomorrow) has a list on it's website of the admissions for all the schools for September 2016. So will say 'admitted all applicants in categories 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 up to a distance of 0.31 miles'. So you can pretty much figure out if you got in or not. Might be worth having a look!

alwaysalaughtobehad · 17/04/2016 20:31

Wow so much info! So glad to see I'm not the only one on tenterhooks! I was hoping the email would come through first thing in the morning but sounds like it could be either midnight or 4pm?!! The agony!! Our first choice is not our catchment school but it's only just over a mile away so hoping ... Good Luck everyone!

alien11 · 17/04/2016 20:33

maiyakat where on your LA website was that info?

CommanderShepard · 17/04/2016 20:40

Just checked, and mine (Oxfordshire) only has last year and the two preceding up. Ah well.

JonStark · 17/04/2016 20:44

Where abouts is this info?

Maiyakat · 17/04/2016 20:51

alien It was in the 'how to apply for a Primary School place' section, under 'how places were allocated last year'.

JonStark · 17/04/2016 20:53

I'm feeling sick about finding out tomorrow. If anyone has any idea on how to find where this information about how many have been admitted might be please let me know. I'm looking on the Essex cc website and its a maze, no idea where to look.

2boysnamedR · 17/04/2016 20:53

Place marking,

alien11 · 17/04/2016 20:56

Nothing on the Kent website! All I can find is the info and link to the application form. Last year the school we had top furthest distance they admitted a child was 0.278 and we live 0.276!!! Goodness I'm so so nervous

JonStark · 17/04/2016 20:59

I can't see anything for previous years even in Essex.

alwaysalaughtobehad · 17/04/2016 21:01

Just checked our website (South Bucks) and it says we'll get an email between 11am-12pm which is good to know. I still feel sick though!

user1457118326 · 17/04/2016 21:03

We are in Manchester and found out yesterday that we have been allocated a school that wasn't on our list of choices are is almost 2km away. We will appeal but I'm not sure it will do any good.

Petal26 · 17/04/2016 21:04

Joining you ladies, I'm staying up until midnight!
I've been checking the website since Friday (in case there was a glitch) but no luck.
I've just checked for allocated places and our county only has information from last year.
I really have been winding myself up over the last few days, I hope I'm not disappointed Confused

alwaysalaughtobehad · 17/04/2016 21:09

Yes our website only has last year's info too. I think I must go and write some lists for tomorrow instead of fretting in front of the computer. Good luck everyone!

JonStark · 17/04/2016 21:12

Oh, I have found last year's stuff and feel a bit better about it. Children out of catchment with no siblings already there got into all of our top three choices last year. Fingers crossed things haven't wildly changed since then.
