In your child's school, are there consequences for non completion of homework?

Yes, they have to stay in at playtime to complete it.

Upper primary here and same, they have to complete it in playtime. I'm happy with this. Seems a reasonable natural consequence.

Am glad there are consequences for not doing it......trains em up for secondary school too.

Yes, they have to complete at playtimes. Older kids who frequently don't complete homework or anyone who doesn't understand it, are encouraged to go to a homework club that runs at lunchtimes a couple of times a week and has a few teachers to help out.

There's incentives (team points) to hand it in early. Mine always hand it in early anyway.

Infants - no consequences
Juniors - Y3/4 - stay in, do it - Y5/Y6, write lines, get bollocked, parents contacted
