..my ds is rarely ill (in 5 years has been sent home once from school). Yesterday he complained repeatedly to his teacher (who doesn't like him) that he felt sick, had a bad headache and in fact, had been sick. She told him ''nonsense, you look fine to me, you're not going home''.
When I picked him up at home time, he was white as a sheet with black circles under his eyes and very warm to touch. He was also sick on the way home.
I know it must be hard for teachers sometimes and that there are some children who do swing the lead, but FFS!!
I really feel like saying something to this woman, but don't want to poison her against my boy any more than she already is (I had a small difference of opinion with her at parents' evening - she thinks his dyslexic struggles are 'behavioural.'..)
