Do I need to be concerned?

I have DT in year 1

1 is struggling, he is on reading level 6 and is slower with spellings and writing.

I know not all children can be quick, and DT2 is average at reading level 8 and higher along with spellings and writing.

Both of them are having a trying time in the classroom with behaviour and attidtude, which we are also seeing at home. We are trying to moving house so they can have a room each but its a trying time all round.

How can I support them? We do reading and spellings every night but I really don't want them to slip too far behind.

I think you'd be best asking their teacher how they could be supported. The teacher will be able to say what they need to work on our what their targets are. However, if they are struggling with their behaviour etc they may need to just chill out when at home in order to recharge for the next day. Adding extra work at home may worsen their behaviour over all.

Are they boys? Only boys take longer to switch on and their behaviour will impact their work. Like not listening. I agree take some of the pressure off - read bedtime stories instead - find word games like snap or word finders. Look at words around us shops etc - it doesnt have to be sit down work -

Those are solid reading levels and I don't think you should be worried about their reading.
