Hos are the sports done in prep schools in London if they ire in built areas - I mean there are no fields...

I looked at Devonshire school and tehre are no fields - how doe they do games? PE lessons? I thought prep schools advertise heavily on sport but do they drive them on a bus somewhere to ensure this?

They either walk or bus to sport centres, public parks, private squares, swimming pools

Ds has playtime in local garden square, one afternoon in Hyde park, one afternoon in local sports centre ( that has outdoor courts also), and swims in public pool.

Many have small back gardens or use communal garden squares for playtime, and some have roof terraces. Playtimes are staggered so small groups use space at each time rather than whole school playtime you get elsewhere.

After first few years many use specialist places based on season. Ie in summer there sport will be in outdoor lido for swimming, and at local cricket club for sport. Most do whole afternoon of sport rather than 45min session to make it easier

In general I think most do more sports than if field on site as they need to make an effort to draw people in
