Worcester prep schools

My family is considering a move to the Worcester area and have seen houses we like both west and slightly north of the city. Could I please get thoughts on private prep schools in the area? So far my research has found:

RGS Springfield
RGS The Grange
Kings
Bowbrook House School
Abberley Hall

Thoughts on these and any others I've missed?

Thanks!

My ds is at Kings Hawford, and we are very happy with it. Like the Grange, it benefits from having a lot of open space. KH has a very outdoors ethos, and inclusive sports, music, dance - everyone plays sport interschool, everyones in the plays, all learn to play the recorder and violin etc. Excellent wrap around care and holiday club

Springfield is very girl heavy, and Bowbrook ends at 13 - seems to have a lot of coming and going, but is a small school if thats something you are looking for.

Thanks, Kings and RGS do seem to have a lot of positive feedback. We've seen a property near Pershore so Bowbrook would be convenient. Do you know if people commute to Kings/RGS from Pershore or is the drive too long?

I have 2 DC (Y3 and Y8 as of next week) at one of these - happy to give more info if you want to PM me.

I have DS at KH and there are a number of children in his year that live in that area. KH and the Grange are only about a mile from each other. Both are to the north of the city and are easy to access from jnct 6 of the motorway. In fact it probably takes less time to commute than from the other side of the city.
We have been very happy with KH. The children are free range, encouraged to take controlled risks, polite and confident.
There is an open day at the beginning of October ( first Saturday ) although you won't see the school in full swing there will be plenty of pupils around to chat to.

We sent our DD to the Grange and lived in Pershore - an easy journey (20 mins), and the train option is great for Senior School now. She was really really happy and loved the amazing facilities + holiday club. The Grange's Open Day is October 18th - well worth a visit. Springfield is a really lovely school too - worth seeing both I would say.

I have a DC at The Grange and an older DC at the senior school.

We are very happy with our decision. The children are enthusiastic and happy and all encouraged to progress as individuals whether that is academically, sport, music, drama etc Lots of time spent outside, good after school clubs and after school care.

I have DC at Springfield and we are looking to move from there to Grange, KH or KSA. Agree with person who said it is too girl heavy and not sure about quality of the teaching either.

What suits you will depend on your child(ren) and their ages and whether or not they're sporty IMO. I've just moved my daughter to Malvern St James for year 6. I'm very impressed with the school and the girls get a lot of opportunities there.

I recently looked at RGS Springfield and RGS The Grange. Springfield is very small and nurturing - it's the former Alice Ottley junior school of course before it was absorbed by RGS. Springfield seems to be girl heavy in some classes and boy heavy in others, whereas at the Grange there is more of a 50/50. The Grange is very sporty and much bigger but I preferred it to Springfield of the two. I also liked the head and teachers at The Grange. Bowbrook in Pershore goes up to year 11 so ends at 16, not 13.

Hi all, we've seen a lovely house in Crowle. Can anyone comment on the village? Also seem homes in Uphampton and Sytchampton so comments on those appreciated as well. Thanks!
