snacks in lunchbox or snacks at breaktime? Probably strict rules on latter.

We only allow fruit/veg at breaks ( and "real" fruit, not the processed fruit flakes/pieces etc)

Children in reception and KS1 get free fruit or veg provided for break time.

Most schools allow older children to bring their own fruit or veg from home.

The free fruit is only in England. Many schools do have a "fruit and veg only" for breaktime snacks rule.

Hi,
I'm a student and currently writing a research project on children's breakfasts - if I could direct you to the 'Classified' section where my survey link is under the title "University Dissertation Questionnaire for Mothers with Children between age of 5-13". It would be of great help if you could take the time to fill it out for me. I'm still looking for many more responses, I would be so grateful.

DT get given pieces of apple, pineapple, cucumber, carrot etc. DD and DS get the same but not cut up.
