A structure to support

Hello,

DD is in YR1. We support with the work that comes from school. One day we are doing addition and next we are doing measurements. Similarly we read one day and then we have dictation words (not many) for the other day. I am sure there is method and structure that is followed but we are completely blind to it and are more reacting to what comes from school.
The teacher consultations although best intentioned does not provide the level of detail, I am looking for to support DD.

Does anyone have an idea/structure to follow the madness :-) I have seen some worksheets etc.. but I want something that I can slowly go through making sure we are not missing any parts.

Thanks for your time.

I know what you are getting at but I do think that at this stage you shouldn't be plugging gaps in teaching so much as ensuring what your DD is learning in the classroom is also being applied by her in real life.

I don't think you are going to get much that helps on a day to day basis - you could find an overview of the curriculum but it won't help week on week. I would focus on this stage on supporting what she is doing in the classroom if she needs it (and she doesn't need to be doing homework every day! probably just some reading) and, as Bonsoir says, fitting it into your everyday life - ask her, for example, to give and get change in a shop.
