Can I ask where you found your questions and what the most popular rounds are? And how any rounds?

Thank you very much.

Oops!! Too soon! My dad does a quiz on the wee coach trips he organises. His most popular round is photo one. He cuts pics (faces only) from papers/magazines of celebs/sports people/politicians etc, puts them in A4 page and photocopies in b&w. You would be amazed how tricky that makes it to recognise well known people!!

The quiz we have at school runs along the following format.

First round is ongoing, more puzzles type thing (e.g. Anagrams, dingbats, how much is a word worth in scrabble etc...). We have then 4 rounds on various themes, at any time you can play your joker which means your points are worth double. Then we have supper (chilli and rice), nachos and dips were starters during first rounds, then brownie for pudding. First round after supper is always the most amusing, your team has to to dress up 4 people, using just newspaper and Sellotape on the theme, e.g. This year it was toy story characters- a few are projected on the screen to give you ideas. Each team' characters have to parade up and down to be judged. Then a few more normal type rounds. The last round is normally a fun one, e.g. A couple of years ago we were given 10 pictures of poo and you had to identify which was which from a list of 12 animals.

Popular rounds have included:
Guess the tune
Back to school - where the parents have to answer school exam questions
Geography
Gossip
Etc etc

Mucho booze is consumed from the bar, which makes a healthy profit and helps with the dressing up round!

Thank you - lots of fun ideas there. I like the dressing up in paper idea too. That's a new one to me!

I did a quiz for the professional group I help run.
We did
A local places picture round
Famous landmarks - describe it & they have to name it.
Recent news stories
The rest of ours was Christmas themed so probably not much help.
Tip - Always double check facts to avoid people challenging your answers.

The last quiz I went to had 3 rounds where you had to identify things from pictures or work out anagrams
They were
European country outlines
Pictures of old television programmes , mostly comedies
And 30! Anagrams of prime ministers and American presidents ( we had this on the table whilst other rounds were continuing)
Then 2 on Easter, 2 general knowledge and 1 on the Jubilee (silver and golden)

A good fundraiser at half time is "the Pound Game"
