This is my first experience of these, what do the schools do with the results?

Pastsellby - not absolutely sure why you quoted me. Results of the tests are not seen by parents (unless they ask). The teacher's assessment is reported at the end of the year.

The tests aren't used as a predictor of progress - the teacher assessments are.

FWIW our LEA isn't even holding mandatory monitoring meetings this year - for any subject.

I rather read your post as Teacher assessed KS1 SATs results are not reported to parents (what you're actually saying is the score on the individual test(s) is not reported to parents).
