Any experience of 2 part-time teachers?

One of the classes at our son's school has 2 teachers job sharing a primary class. My initial instinct is that this situation isn't ideal and I would prefer one dedicated teacher, but I would like to hear from anyone who has experience of their child being taught by 2 different teachers.

What are the pros and cons of such an arrangement? Does it affect the children in a positive or negative way and have you found any issues with consistency?

Ds had this in reception
I was worried at first as i thought it would be harder fir him to settle but having the same TA everyday meant consistency.
He really thrived in that class.
The teachers were total opposites , one very softly spoken the other who stood for no nonsense - so a good combination & the kids more likely to 'click' with one of them

As everybody said, it is great.

DS1 had this for year 1 and it worked really well. Each teacher had different strengths and interests and you had the enthusiasm of two teachers - and two lots of 'start of the week freshness'
