That's all, really. Have three kids at a lovely school and they're all happy to attend, they try their best and they literally cuddle their teacher if they can!

I agree, mine have all had good teachers so far.
Last years reception teacher for dd2 was awesome, I love her to bits!

And ds (y6) has a teacher that I was very concerned about (she did not get along with her class last year, and lots of parent complaints, but so far the class is settled and ds i shappy and she seems to be getting them to work.

I used to teach and I am awestruck at the amount of work they do compared to when I was teaching

Ds has a fantastic science teacher who inspires him to learn (need to point the maths teacher in her direction I think!) and a great form teacher who also teaches fab art.

We've had a mix of teachers over the years but one stands out - she taught DS1 in Y3 and Y4 (small school mixed classes) then he moved up to another class and a term later was followed by the teacher who then also had him for his last 5 terms of primary. DS2 had her for year 6 and she is still there and I'm really hoping she teaches DS3 when he's at that age. I have to say that the teacher DS3 had last year and has this year is amazing too - she's in her third year of teaching and he made such a huge amount of progress with her last year.

Dd's school is filled to the brim with teachers and TA's who really care for the children there. Dd has autism and without exception every adult is sensitive to her needs and difficulties. Dd is only able to fly when she is confident that she won't fall and the school are happy to support her for as long as she needs until she is ready. So it wasn't a problem that she still needed taking into school until y6 but they celebrated with her when she finally mastered it and after half term I will move away from the door to collect her. Her teacher won't see it a problem that she may need to walk a year six across the playground to meet me and she will do that for as long as it takes until dd can master it herself.
And whilst her teacher is sensitive to her emotional needs she also recognises that academically dd is bright and so gives her the push when needed to achieve what she is capable of.
I feel very fortunate that dd is part of this lovely school.

Dd's nursery teacher was lovely and he reception teacher is also fantastic and well on the ball. Love dd's school in general and head teacher is very friendly and caring too.

My DDs have all had good teachers through primary and the majority have been amazing. The ones who stood out:

DD1's Yr3 teacher, who spotted her dangerous perfectionism which was holding her back and worked with her and with us to boost her confidence and got her enjoying school again,

DD1's Yr6 maths teacher (3-tier at the time so a subject specialist) who made her love the subject and realise she was good at it,

DD2's Yr4 teacher, who lent her books from her own collection because the school didn't have anything to challenge her - and set up a book club for able readers so they could share books and idea with each other,

DD2's current (Yr6) class teacher, who has so much enthusiasm for every child and completely handles all DD2's quirks of character.

DS2 reception teacher last year made me want to cry she was so good. She really was the epitome of what I think a reception teacher should be. Now his yr1 tutor I'm less keen on but that may be because she has a lot to live up to!
