Bite marks

My Ds 5, has two bite marks on arm, obvious little red marks and bruises on the skin. These bites were done by my terror of a DS who is 2. This is the first time DS2 has done this.

Do I need to tell school? His arm looks awful :( I'm so worried they will think he's being abused.. will they realise they are bite marks by a very little mouth? Should I warn them? I don't know what to do!

Thanks

I imagine your ds will be delighted to tell anyone who'll listen that his little brother bit him!!!!!'

Yes, he's showing everyone. He couldn't wait to tell his grandparents when he saw them. He's really milking it. I know I'm just being silly and paranoid! I just don't know if to mention it to the teacher, or not.

My then toddler DS scratched my DD's face quite badly. I did tell the teacher and said I didn't want them to think it had happened at school. I did also think that if they had to make a note of the scratches a note of my expanation would look less suspicious than unexplained marks. I'd just mention it at drop off :)

I would mention it - just in case they are noticed during the day and they worry that it is something that happened at school.

Thanks, it was actually done on saturday morning, but he wasn't at school yesterday and I completely forgot today. He has PE tomorrow, so that's what made me think. I will tell his teacher tomorrow
