We are expecting OFSTED at any time, and although we were pleased with our results, I am now beginning to panic! Does anyone know where I can find the national results (not the pilot group) to compare how we did with schools nationally? Thanks

I haven't heard of the national data being available yet.

We had Ofsted exactly a year ago (5/6th October). We were one of the first schools to be 'done' under the new regime and we did really well.

But in answer to your question, no, don't know if the data has been released yet.

Good luck - you'll be fine!

National Data isn't released yet.

The 2013 figures show 69% nationally working at the required level. My LA has 79% working at the same level with an average phonics score of 33.0 But I only have LA results for my own!
For the year 2 children who resat the test in 2013, the percentage nationally was 68%.

Thank you for your replies. OFSTED still haven't come!
I see that the new EYFS results are out - overall 52% of children achieved a 'good level of development' at the end of reception.
60% of girl achieved this compared to 44% of boys.
58% of children from affluent areas achieved 'good levels'compared to 45% in deprived areas.
The average score was 32.8 points - just short of the 34 points that are the equivalent of children achieving the expected levels across all the learning goals.
We didn't do as well as the National results; so I even more concerned.

i know nothing about eyfs really but are you comparing like with like? if you are in a deprived area and get close to the average you are doing well, but in a mc area you would be doing badly..... if you are below average then make sure you look at figures for a comparable intake and present those with yours when ofsted comes. In London the London Families of Schools documents are useful for this. good luck

Call please could you tell me where to find the national data? I am being hammered for my average Maths and Literacy despite having, I suspect, a GLD overall, so I'd like to be able to back that up!

Iamnotminterested · 26/10/2013 20:37

Ninah - google eyfs 2013 results, lots of data there.

what is the age profile of the class. dd;s class was very heavy on the summer born children. ds's class mainly autumn birthdays.
